Two drifters, George and his friend Lennie, are complete opposites. George is small, quick and intelligent while Lennie is giant, slow-minded and childlike. They care deeply for one another and have big dreams of saving enough money to buy a piece of land for their own. But when a ranch boss’ promiscuous wife is found dead, George is faced with a moral question: How should he deal with Lennie before the ranchers find him and take matters into their own hands? A story on the pursuit of the American dream and the struggles of the working class.
