Mask & Event Policy
Effective September 20th 2021
Landmark Community Theatre continues to maintain operations while navigating the worldwide pandemic of COVID-19 and the recent Delta and MU strains. The ability to sustain some level of operations is due in large part to dedicated staff and volunteers making the efforts to comply with all CDC, local, state and federal mandates and recommendations throughout the process. LCT weighs the needs, comfort and safety of its volunteers, performers and patrons when setting its policies. LCT has also consulted with several other like organizations throughout the region as well as Broadway and leading performance venues. To that end, the following COVID-19 safety policies will be effective immediately.
For the safety of all persons in attendance at the Thomaston Opera House, proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test for all eligible persons will be required upon entering the facilities. People with a documented medical or religious exception will be required to provide proof their exemption. Accepted forms of COVID test include a negative antigen test taken within 12 hours of the performance start time or a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours of the performance. Photo images of vaccination cards, COVID tests, or exemption letters will be accepted at the door. Masks are required for all patrons to be worn as they enter and move about the facility. Adults may remove their masks once they have reached their seats. Minors ineligible to receive vaccines will be allowed to attend only if they properly wear a mask or face covering during their entire visit and are accompanied by an adult that complies with the above stated policies.
Self contained food and beverages may be served before the performance and during intermission. Masks may be removed by all patrons for this consumption in the comfort of the patrons own assigned seat.
Sanitizing efforts continue throughout the facilities to ensure the continued safety of our patrons, volunteers, performers, musicians, and staff. The efforts include numerous hand sanitizing stations, touchless dispensers, UV sanitizing HVAC scrubbers, Ionized spraying of the entire facility before and after each performance, socially separated seating and digital ticketing and programs.
We thank you for your kind understanding and cooperation in keeping our facilities safe and open. We look forward to welcoming everyone back and ultimately getting back to normal.
