Bob Brophy
We are happy to present Bob Brophy as the recipient of the Landmark Community Theatre Volunteer Spotlight Award!
Bob started volunteering in 1990 before the theatre re-opened. A retired Elementary Teacher at Lake Garda School in Burlington, he is a life-long resident of Plymouth and past president of the Bristol Arts League. Bob is an avid painter, preferring acrylic and water colors. His work can often be seen in the Crescent Art Gallery, where he meets every Thursday with the other Ten-2-One artists. Bob has helped with virtually every show at Landmark as a scenic painter over the last 5 years. He goes well beyond the realms of volunteerism and assists with other departments, often in our time of need. He cites South Pacific as his most notable work and Joseph and the Amazing Techinicolor Dreamcoat as his favorite musical. Bob takes time every Wednesday to meet with the original volunteers of the Thomaston Opera House, Bob & Rosemary Garretson, Becky Nelson, Marsha Curtis, and Marilyn Atwood.
